Acquire Premier Editor Suite comprises of:  


Project Management

Choose details of your project from where to keep your source content, which players are to be used, which Plugins to use, scan projects for out of date media

Page Editor

WYSIWYG Visual layout tool to freely position up to 1024 media, RSS, text, audio,  interactive Areas/rules and Plugins on a Page. Save layouts as templates for future use, Add and Configure Page Plugins, Configure Page rules. Also setup page Demographic rules and define Media Items to be updated through SaaS. Configure Trigger responses.

Playlist Editor

Import existing pages, Media (Auto-create new pages), or use sub-playlists to group content and build detailed presentations. Use Drag and Drop to design playlist order, edit item’s lifetime and day parting/hour parting/year parting rules, edit item’s maximum number of plays, override items’s default playlength, configure playlist rules, set automatic playlist items using random, advertising or demographics rules.

Previewing 

Acquire Premier Editor includes a copy of the Acquire Player to enable a real preview of the project prior to deployment. Test all rules and content prior to sending. Sign-off pages prior to deployment.

Deployment

Choose one of three methods to send your completed project to the remote players using the integrated tools. Wrap the files into a Manual deployment to send on CD/DVD or via sneakernet (a guy taking it to site on a memory stick!), Push the updates to the players using the Point2Point technology, or make use of Pull technology using our advanced PLUS! Network.

Scheduler

When using Point2Point or using the PLUS! Network, each player can have it’s own specific playlists or share an existing playlist. When using the PLUS! Network, group players to enable easier Schedule management, configure Variables and Demographics

Reporting

Make use of the PLUS! Network’s integrated reporting feature to configure and run over 30 different types of report, including Proof of Playout, Top 10 pages, System Uptime, etc.

 

Site Manager

Acquire Editor Suite includes a copy of Site Manager to enable remote monitoring and uptime of remote players. Detailed information of the state and history of each player is instantly available, detailed hardware Asset List, integrated secure connections for remote support, configure exception and auto-recovery rules for instant alerting of problems, assign support staff to specific sites, view live playback.

Plugin Management

Plugins extend the capabilities of Acquire. They can be Project plugins (which run in the background of the Player software to add 'background' tasks such as keeping an RSS feed up to date), Page Plugins (which appear when a specific page is shown in your project such as a web browser or TV feed), or Editor plugins (which provide additional services to you when you are building the project, such as a flowchart designer)
