Dynascript Project Plug-in

The Dynamic Script project plug-in for Acquire provides the ability to regularly download a simplified playlist from a website or FTP site. Although this does not provide the content distribution or detailed play listing facilities provided when using Acquire and the PLUS! network, it does allow you to develop a separate facility for your clients to choose their own sequence of scripts or pages (note: requires separate development of a user login website etc.). Essentially, you are able to provide Acquire with a separate playlist to be played on certain key players by providing those players with an XML format file listing the pages, scripts and variables to be used in sequential order. By choosing the players which will use this simplified script, you can create advanced local control of the players, whilst retaining control over the content of the pages and playlists used.
