In many ways the System Watchdog is the big brother of System Sentinel. Many clients choose to upgrade simply because the cost is nominal for a more powerful and feature filled option. System Watchdog can be used as a standalone solution which is easily installed on the remote kiosk or digital signage player. And, can be configured on-site to send email alerts once every 24 hours.

System Watchdog provides the same Prevention, Reaction and Notification features as System Sentinel but offers more flexibility:-

1. Multiple Applications – System Watchdog is not restricted to just working with Acquire. It can load, run and monitor any Windows software application.
2. Greater Functionality– Whilst the System Sentinel provides sufficient local safety and security for your digital signage player or kiosk running Acquire, System Watchdog extends that fuctionality for a modest, one-off license fee. 3. Plugin Expansion – System Watchdog is ideal for users who have additional hardware peripherals on their signage players or kiosks because the platform architecture enables the rapid development of software plugins for any hardware device. This is particularly useful for kiosk developers.
