PRODUCTS - ACQUIRE LITE DS™
A streamlined version of Acquire that is specifically tailored to producing Digital Signage projects. Similar to our flagship Premier product, a number of features used primarily for Kiosk Development are not present to make learning the product easier, and a limit of 3 projects is imposed.
You can build each 'page' from up to 1,024 unique elements with complete control of each one! Unlike some competing products, Acquire is not a rebadged Webbrowser or Powerpoint viewer, Acquire was developed and optimised to show all of the industry standard media formats including MPEG1, 2, 4, DIVx, High Definition (720 and 1080), Quicktime, WMV, Adobe Flash, MP3, WAV and many more.

Acquire Lite DS gives you complete flexibility over the layout of your pages - create your pages fSreeform using the page designer, which you can then save as a template for re-use. Unlike other systems, you are not restricted to using fixed templates.
You can automatically rescale and crop your media and pages for ANY screen resolution, including split-screens, widescreen and even non-standard resolutions such as quad-head graphics card output!
And before you send it to your players, use a live preview of your content before you upload it to see EXACTLY how it will be played out - not just a web-based simulation.

More advanced than competing products, the Editor's scheduling controls provide depths of control to ensure your playlists never become boring, without having a massive team of people to watch over them. Day-parting, week parting, year parting, campaign start and end day/times, external trigger events (e.g. GPS position of the unit, fire alarms, etc), fully automatic (based upon advertising slots or demographics), and multi-tiered schedules enable you to display your content at the most appropriate times to show them for the maximum impact.

A choice of transfer technologies are available to you. Our Integrated distribution technology means a single click of the mouse gets your content to where you need it to be, in minutes. Manual deployments can be used to transfer the content using pendrives, CD-ROM, etc, or for locations with a network link using ADSL, Wireless, ISDN or even Dial-up, Acquire includes a push technology (Point2Point™), or use our subscription data transfer network – The PLUS! Data Distribution System automatically and securely uploads your content to the appropriate players in the fastest time possible (Push AND Pull methods available). No more trying to work out which players need which content or using insecure WEB or FTP based access, and full status details of every player in your estate, available instantly!

Manage
It is important to know what your players are doing. If a player fails to get it’s latest content, or even fails completely, you need to know what is happening without having a massive team of support staff. Point2Point users can use the application to monitor the players. On a regular basis, the P2P program will ‘ping’ the players to check that they are operating and playing the content they should. A simple ‘traffic light’ system shows the state of these at a glance.
PLUS! Users can use the much more advanced Site Manager – a program that provides you with a selection of facilities that are integrated within the PLUS! Network™ services. Primarily a reporting service advises you of events you want to know about (from over 500 triggers, including player failure, exceeding temperature, etc), a historical logging service describes what has happened to the player, and a remote access feature to remotely control the player and resolve any problems.
