Acquire is one of the most powerful remote media control systems for Digital Signage and Kiosks in the world.  However, although we know that we created a powerful tool with our Premier version, we also understand that not everyone needs all of the features – many well known networks have started from humble beginnings.

Starting from our powerful Premier version of the solution, we identified a number of points where we believe that our customers may wish to start using our system, and developed versions appropriate to your needs, with the option to upgrade the editor (keeping the players the same), or add functionality through our plugins as you need it. This makes it simpler to use, and you don’t pay for things you may never need.

With Acquire you can be safe in the knowledge that the same Award-winning player engine is used in all our versions so that as your network grows, you will not be limited by the restrictions of the technology you use.

Acquire is flexible too. Although in the features list below are the key features for our packages, remember with the same core engine being used in all of our systems, we can also provide a variety of other methods to control the systems –

For instance using our ‘out of the box’ Solo players, each player has it’s own LAN-based editor, but if this is used as part of a network, both the central administration site AND the local site can control the players* - but for an even simpler access for you local staff, we also have a simple web-based scheduling and messaging service for them to use if you wish to let them have a level of control which needs the minimum of training.
*Three levels of local access enable the local site to change greater levels of content and playlist, but they can only edit content which has been unlocked by the head office.

*1 Acquire™ keeps all of the content and settings for each client and/or network separate to prevent accidental crossover. These are known as Projects and once assigned, a player will only receive content for that project.

*2 Acquire™ is a software platform and can be installed on your own existing hardware/3rd party hardware (Solo excluded), although we would strongly advise that we test your hardware build for the suitability of operating 24 hours a day and constant playback of high-bandwidth content. Alternatively, we can provide a range of already approved hardware solutions with the system pre-installed and ready to go.

*3 The PLUS! Network™ provides a variety of advanced monitoring, reporting and data distribution features for networks of 1 to 100,000’s of players. It is a low-cost subscription service. See ‘PLUS! Network™’ for more information.

*4 Script language operation requires installation of MS .Net services (available from www.microsoft.com).
