Position: Experienced IT Support Engineer

Location: Leicester

Salary: Pro rata based upon skills and experience

The IT Support Engineer role is a permanent position for an individual looking to develop their existing skills and gain more exposure to a range of disciplines within a fast growing company. Existing team members include Technical Support, Creative and Development as well as admin and sales staff.  

What you’ll do…

  • Primary role is to support National and International customers with the use and implementation of our products. This may involve out of hours as required (remote)
  • Occasional off-site support - Full Driving License required
  • Hardware specification, ordering and stock management
  • Testing of internal software releases
  • Diagnosing and resolving a range of IT issues for clients both on site and remotely
  • Building, installing and configuring hardware and software solutions
  • Providing assistance to account managers in the development of appropriate solutions for clients
  • Performing preventative maintenance activities
  • Keeping client records and relevant support documentation up to date

  • Have previous customer/client care or support experience
  • Windows 7-10
  • Networking solutions, TCP/IP, LAN and WAN technologies
  • Microsoft MCSE 2003 or above qualification preferable or a minimum of two MCPs, studying toward full MCSE status, ideally in subjects appropriate to the Network Infrastructure and Advanced Infrastructure Solutions Competency
