I need a low-cost total digital signage solution.

Does SOLO fit the bill?

SOLO is an all-in-one, low cost software package aimed at the single unit or small LAN end user, and is also available for bundle sales to OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers). It is available either as a hardware/software bundle or as a software only package. It is comprised of:-

  • A small format, industrial standard PC (optional purchase)
  • Windows XP Embedded (optional purchase)
  • Acquire Player licence (includes Sentinel security software)
  • Web browser based content management system
  • Java based template designer
  • SOLO Manager software

Using SOLO’s content management system you can use standard templates, download graphic packs and even create your own templates using the template designer. The SOLO box needs to be connected to your editing PC either via crossover network cable (in the case of single unit control) or via LAN (in the case of multiple unit control). The SOLO manager software detects the presence of a SOLO box and opens your web browser (Internet Explorer 7.0 and above) to provide you with control over your SOLO box.

For this solution you would need a SOLO box…Yes, that’s all.
