Does SOLO fit the bill?

SOLO is a complete, low cost, hardware and software combination, aimed at single units or small LAN networks. SOLO is comprised of:-

  • A small format, industrial standard PC
  • Windows XP or Embedded
  • Acquire Player licence (includes Sentinel security software)
  • Web based content management system
  • Flash based template designer
  • SOLO manager software

Using SOLO’s content management system you can use standard templates, download graphic packs and even create your own templates using the template designer. The SOLO box needs to be connected to your editing PC either via crossover network cable (in the case of single unit control) or via LAN (in the case of multiple unit control). The SOLO manager software detects the presence of a SOLO box and opens your web browser (Internet Explorer 7.0 and above) to provide you with control over your SOLO box.
